Do you have land to develop in Tewkesbury?
McLoughlin Planning is calling on landowners in Tewkesbury borough to come forward and explore opportunities for development.
The call comes as Tewkesbury Borough Council is looking to identify new housing and employment land as part of its Local Plan consultation, which runs until 30 November.
New boundaries are being drawn around settlements to enable new homes to be built, including the following villages:
- Bishops Cleeve
- Woodmancote
- Winchcombe
- Shurdington
- Minsterworth
- Maisemore
- Highnam
- Gotherington
- Stoke Orchard
These are designated as service villages under policy RES3 of the Plan.
Other rural villages fall under policy RES4, which encourages small-scale infill development. This should encourage people who have been previously refused permission to build new homes in rural villages.
The council wants to allocate land for employment sites around Gloucestershire Airport and the Staverton Business Parks, as well as extending the following sites:
- Knightsbridge Business Centre
- Orchard Trading Estate
- Malvern View Business Park
- Highnam Business Centre
- Brockeridge Farm & Duddage Manor Business Parks
- Twyning, Highfield Business Centre
- Isbourne Business Centre
- Ashchurch
McLoughlin Planning Managing Director, Nathan McLoughlin, said: “This consultation provides excellent opportunities for landowners across Tewkesbury borough to promote sites into the local plan.”
“We have significant experience in the area, so please get in touch with us if you would like to discuss the possibility of putting your land forward.”
